FAQ
The MIDA Process
When material arrives at our facility, it is sorted and then dismantled.
At this point, any hazardous material is removed
(eg: batteries) and
sent to qualified downstreams for proper recycling. It is
then sorted by commodity (ie: copper,
aluminum, plastic, steel etc.)
The final processing done thru MIDA RPM:
- Wire and Cable is chopped at a local wire chop.
- Material that is bearing precious metals is sent for further refining within
North America to recover these metals.
Other Metals like steel, brass, aluminum etc. contain no hazardous components
and that require no further separation,
are sent to specialized foundries to be
processed.
Where we get our material:
We work with a wide variety of industries. Every single company today whether
it is a school, organization, law office,
bank, insurance company, municipality
or manufacturing company, has a host of electronics to run their business.
At some point, this equipment becomes old, obsolete, or it is just time to upgrade.
Often companies/organizations do not
know what to do with this equipment or
where to turn. MIDA RPM can help.
Computer Recycling & E-Waste...
MIDA RPM handles computer recycling, E-waste, electronic recycling, OES,
electronic scrap and computer disposal
projects for many different companies.
