The ferrous market continues to be strong with April 2010
holding firm the increases seen in March 2010 on all grades.
The export markets for ferrous scrap came to buy in April
2010 helping increase the demand for heavy melt and shred
grades. It appears demand will remain firm for the balance
of the year with some variations in pricing during the year.
The current non-ferrous market remains very strong with copper
prices setting the pace for the balance of the year with some
market fluctuations during this year..."
